About the event

09.11.2026 Monday 18:00
For the second time, we invite you to a unique meeting with Jola Janus. Our salon star sings and entertains the audience, as only Jola can, and she is accompanied by Janek Stasiak — a colleague, narrator and reciter, actor of the Janusz Theater from the Senior Art Salon.
Jolanta Janus, the star of our show is a cheerful senior, with the soul of a teenager. Always smiling, energetic and very sociable, she will talk to everyone, make a quick coffee, treat her to candy and what she has there, and throw jokes — with the word “life is a continuous theater”. It has its own unique style. For years he has been writing poems, singing songs, performing in the theater and in the cabaret. Jola can often be seen walking along Szczecin Street, with a large suitcase on wheels. Rest assured that Jola then goes to the rehearsal, and in this suitcase she has her colorful dresses, which she gladly lends to her girlfriends.
They call her the phenomenal Mrs. Jola. Bright face, surrounded by white waves of hair, lips marked with red lipstick, cheeks rosy and two firm eyebrow lines. Always a heel, a dress and a wide belt, because the waist should be emphasized. Long earrings and ringing bracelets. Ms. Jola always looks like a star who has just stepped off the stage. But she was not always like that, after all, she also has many difficult years behind her, which she tells about in the film “The Lesson of Love”.
But now it's time to perform! Jolu, we invite you!
To the question: “Why do you have artistic interests in your life?” In an interview with “Głou Szczeciński” he says:
“I've always liked to fool around. My dad was very cheerful, maybe I inherited it from him. Dad worked as a pharmacist and all the customers said that if Dad said something, you could burst out laughing. I didn't have Polish books in Italy, so I started writing poems for my daughter to sleep. Then I began to write down these poems and fairy tales. From this came various songs about flowers, about love, about life. I have a serious illness behind me and I have noticed that after the illness the world opens up anew. You love people, you love nature, you want to experience everything more intensely. You are happy when someone visits you. You're like a newborn. I've escaped death from under the shovel three times because I've had three major surgeries. On the second or third day after the operation, I got up and did my makeup. The doctor laughed that the patient was recovering. I started singing songs in the hospital. When I returned from Italy, my sister offered me a job at the hospital. I was worried that every patient was so sad, desperate, so I cleaned up and sang songs to the patients. I used to sneak into a grandmother who was in solitary confinement and sang to her every day. When I left, I invited everyone to “Cafe Smile”.
“You said that you have a second home in the 13 Muses Cultural Center.
Yes. I sang in different places and one of my friends invited me to join the band at Muzy. I was very happy. Here I can do anything — sing, show my joy, play in the theater. I finally feel fulfilled. Children have grown up, I am very busy, it is impossible for me to sit at home and cry over my fate.”
