PROGRAM Friday, 9 October 2026 | 19:00 Konsulat Kultury w Gdynia
Poznań Group Ensemble, Michał Plichta — conductor
We invited the winners of the last edition of the Grand Prix of Polish Choral Arts to the opening of the jubilee edition of our festival. Young artists will present a variety of choral music by Polish and foreign composers, and the special event of the evening will be two premieres of works by Michał Plichta and Lidia Wysocka.
Saturday, 10 October 2026 | 19:00 Gdynia City Museum
Vocal Octet Simultaneo, Karol Kisiel — conductor
The hosts of the festival will take you to the fascinating world of Polish choral music. The intimate and spiritual mood of Stanisław Morita's sacred compositions will give way to the extremely melodic and minimalist paintings of Kurpiów folklore by Henryk Mikołaj Górecki. The artists will clash this vision with Roman Maciejewski's virtuoso Kurpiów Songs, and at the heart of the program will be the premiere of Dominik Radonia's composition.
Sunday, 11 October 2026 | 19:00 Emigration Museum in Gdynia
Vox Clamantis (Estonia), Jaan-Eik Tulve — conductor
The finale of the concert part of our festival performed by Vox Clamantis from Estonia (one of Europe's leading vocal ensembles) under the direction of Jaan-Eik Tulve, Grammy Award winners. The evening will be filled with mesmerizing music by Arvo Pärt, interspersed with Gregorian chant and fragments of Guillaume de Machaut's medieval Notre Dame Mass. A special highlight of the program will be the Polish premiere of a work by Helena Tulve, one of the most outstanding contemporary Estonian composers.
We are waiting for you!
