A compilation of the most important, iconic works of the outstanding Polish director and Oscar winner, related to the Andrzej Wajda trail in the Museum of Cinematography. On the anniversary of Andrzej Wajda's birth, we will present two films from the review: Man from the Marble (1976) and Afterlife (2016). Afterlife (2016) is Andrzej Wajda's last film and his return to Łódź from the time he studied at the Film School. The story of the outstanding avant-garde painter Władysław Strzeminski, a crippled artist, founder of the Museum of Art in Łódź, who after 1949 became a victim of the persecution of the communist authorities, trying to force him to create in the spirit of Socialism.
