See you soon!

Conrad Drzewiecki was also a talented dancer, choreographer, educator and, above all, reformer of Polish dance. He was born on October 14, 1926 in Poznań, a city with which he linked his life and to which he returned after years of foreign success to realize a vision that forever changed the face of Polish dance.

Now, one hundred years after his birth, it is easy to see that Conrad Drzewiecki's most enduring work is not a single choreography or even an impressive artistic achievement. It is a way of thinking about dance - bold, free, open to exploration - and an institution that has carried this idea further for more than half a century.

Together with our partners: the Stanisław Moniuszko Theater in Poznań and the Olga Sławska-Lipczyńska Ballet School in Poznań, we have prepared a rich program of events dedicated to the Master, which will take place in places especially related to his life and work.

We present to you the detailed plan of the celebrations on 14.10.2026. Admission to most events is free.

We cordially invite all who want to celebrate the memory of Conrad Drzewiecki together with us and our partners.
