100% WET

Aspiring electro-rock duo announce concert in VEGA

On October 14, 100% WET will kick off the effects pedals when they play one of the biggest concerts of their career in their own name in Lille VEGA.

Things have gone tremendously strong for the Danish electro-rock duo 100% WET.

The band took root when the two guitarists and producers Jakob Birch and Casper Munns hit a creative main artery in 2022 at the Rhythmic Music Academy in Copenhagen. Only two years later in 2024, they were signed to international label Crunchy Frog Recordings, released their debut single “Lost Myself” and in 2025 their self-titled debut album was ready.

A release that kicked the door in to the Danish as well as the international music scene with reviews from home and abroad.

The Line of Best Fit described the music from the album as: “It's Mazzy Star meets Goldie meets The Cure meets A Tribe Called Quest”.

Soundvenue was then also favourably voted towards the musical partner pair and their debut. In particular, the album's mix of genres caught the reviewer's attention:

“With that said, 100% WET has struck a hitherto untouched nerve in the genre consensus they themselves have dubbed hypergaze. Birch and Munns actually manage to combine the many sources of inspiration, and the result is a breath of fresh air in an already genre pluralistic music landscape”.

On stage, the duo perform the complexity of the music, with a hybrid drum kit, an arsenal of guitars as well as on-stage samplers, ethereal vocals, breakbeats and massive guitar surfaces as foundation elements. In addition, 100% WET collaborates with Sanna Heinstedt, who is the band's front woman live.

On October 14, audiences in Lille VEGA can expect an unpredictable, pulsating and dreamy sound universe, where shoegaze dances frenetic cheek dance with danceable electronic beats.
