Koncertsalen, Ørestads Boulevard 13, 2300 København S, København

One of the most influential bands in pop history, 10cc, will return to Denmark when Graham Gouldman and his acclaimed live band re-occupy Koncertsalen, which on their last visit sold out to last place.

About the event

10cc is one of those rare bands whose music has never lost topicality. With global megahits like “I'm Not In Love”, “Dreadlock Holiday”, “Rubber Bullets” and “The Things We Do For Love”, their treasure trove of songs is stronger today than ever, helped by new generations who have discovered music via everything from Guardians of the Galaxy to After Life, Bridget Jones, Snatch and The Social Network.

The band's resurgent popularity has led to sold-out concerts around the world, including at London's iconic Royal Albert Hall earlier this year, where Kevin Godley appeared as a surprise guest and, for the first time ever, sang “Cry” live with the band.

Graham Gouldman, founder, bassist, guitarist and vocalist, has spearheaded 10cc since the beginning. “We're lucky to have such a fantastic canon of work to draw on,” Gouldman says, adding “In 10cc Mark 1, we were four guys all of whom could sing, play, write songs and produce. So the music we made came out of mixing those talents together. In today's Mark 3 band, the song is king.”

Today's line-up has strong roots in the band's history. Guitarist Rick Fenn and drummer Paul Burgess have been part of the 10cc family since the mid-1970s, while Keith Hayman, Iain Hornal and Ben Stone complete the team.

10cc are behind three UK No 1 singles and the band's hits continue to be streamed. Their songs continue to be part of popular culture worldwide, and the concert in DR Koncerthuset will be a chance to experience them live in their full force.
