On October 11, we close the exhibition “Wild hares. An exhibition for big and small.” But before that happens, we want to celebrate her last days — and for as long as 11 days! It's not a finish. It's not just the last weekend. It's a whole 11 days of celebrating together!
Day 8: description of the event
Is it possible to fight without words? We'll check it out together! We invite children and their guardians to play with signs in Polish Sign Language (PJM). During the workshop, we will learn a few simple signs — among others the names of colors or names — and we will see how much can be told with the help of hands, movement and gestures. We will explore the space of the exhibition “Wild Harce”, look for inspiration and explore it from a completely new perspective.
Practical information
Time? 08.10.2026 — 17:30 — 18:30
For whom? It is not necessary to know PJM or use it on a daily basis. We invite G/Deaf and hearing children and their caregivers to play together and to discover the world of sign language. Please bring comfortable clothes.
Tickets? 30 PLN.
Leading? Patrycja Jarosińska — dancer, pedagogue, choreographer of PJM, deaf person, educator and promoter of Deaf Culture. He conducts movement and theater and dance workshops for deaf and hearing people. She has appeared in numerous performances, including the play “Pępuszek” for the youngest viewers.
About the exhibition “Wild Harce”
Cricoteka together with the A Sztuka Foundation? invites you to the Wild Hunt. Exhibition for big and small. Wild hares are a space for active experience of art and action: checking, moving and launching the space with your own activity. Drawing on the book Where Wild Creatures Live by Maurice Sendak and the idea of “Anti-exhibition” by Tadeusz Kantor, the project invites children and adults to enter a creative process, full of experiment, risk and fun.
Accessibility
The nearest public transport stops are: Korona (tram and bus) and Ghetto Heroes Square (tram). Cricoteka does not have a car park for guests. Two parking spaces for people with disabilities are located on Nadwiślańska Street, near the entrance from the side of the Bernatka footbridge, but a high curb may be a difficulty when getting out. Upon prior notification of such a need, we can allocate a temporary parking space in the square.
The most convenient entrance to the building is through Cricoteki Square. After passing through the glass door, head to the elevator or staircase. The ticket office is located at level -1. Go to it if you do not have a ticket to the event or need additional information/assistance.
To get to the theater hall, go down/down to level -1. The people working at the box office will show you how to proceed. Upon prior notification of such a need, you can get to the hall directly from Cricoteki Square.
If you need more information or would like assistance, PJM translation, audio description, or have any other needs that we should know about so that you can feel comfortable, please contact the Accessibility Coordinator:
