The film shows the east of Ukraine long before the full-scale invasion. We observe young people whose lives were marked by the decade-long war in Donbas. As in a Greek tragedy, the two brothers fight on opposite sides of the front, and the youngest is raised in an American foster family. It's a poignant story about identity, wartime trajectory, and divisions stronger than blood ties.
