About the event

13.10.2026 Tuesday 18:00
We cordially invite you to another concert performed by Szczecinska Trzynastka — the wind orchestra of the House of Culture “13 Muz”.
We will start the artistic season 2026/2027 with a concert, which we would like to dedicate to all educators working in Polish schools and universities.
The concert will begin with a performance of brass forms that are standard for orchestras. In unique arrangements they will sound — fanfare, polka and anthem.
In the later part of the concert we will present film music, we will play, among others, melodies from the animation of the studio “Pixar”.
The concert will end with spectacular and energetic (and energetic) arrangements of songs by Michael Jackson and Taylor Swift.
On the occasion of the National Education Day (October 14), we wish teachers many pedagogical successes and satisfaction and satisfaction with their work.
Szczecińska Trzynastka — wind orchestra of the House of Culture “13 Muz” was established in 2021 on the initiative of Waldemar Kulpa, director of the House of Culture “13 Muz” by Mateusz Kupski, artistic director and first conductor of the orchestra. Currently the conductor of the orchestra is Miłosz Otto.
The purpose of the Orchestra is to promote the idea of uniting the community of musicians playing wind instruments, regardless of whether one is an amateur, student or professional, as well as to instill the tradition of wind orchestras in our city. We would like the Orchestra's performances to take place wherever we can enjoy music for the residents of Szczecin and tourists visiting the city — on indoor and outdoor stages, during holidays and cultural events. We connect many generations of musicians, which is why the band includes: The Brass Wind Band of the House of Culture “13 Muz”, students of music schools in Szczecin, as well as amateurs trained by us — people without musical education, but with a musical passion.
The organization is handled by Mateusz Kupski, who serves on a daily basis as the first trombone player in the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic Orchestra in Szczecin. He is a graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. He has collaborated with many Polish and international orchestras, including the Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra, Gorzów Philharmonic, Silesian Opera in Bytom, Józef Elsner Philharmonic in Opole, I, CULTURE Orchestra. Mateusz Kupski is also an educator at the ZPSM at Staromłyńska Street in Szczecin and a lecturer at the Academy of Arts in Szczecin.
Miłosz Otto is a second-year undergraduate student at the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. He studied in two directions: symphonic conducting in the class of Prof. José Maria Florencio and clarinet in the class of Prof. Paweł Drobnik and Dr. Paweł Kroczek.
With the title of primus inter pares he graduated from the First Degree Music School in Gryfin and continued his education at the Feliks Nowowiejski State Music Schools Complex in Szczecin in the clarinet class of Prof. Bogusław Jakubowski. In the years 2015-2019, he was repeatedly awarded by Mayor Gryfin for his artistic achievements and activities in favor of culture.
He has performed in Poland and abroad — including in Germany, the Netherlands and Ukraine — taking part in projects such as Constantijn Sinfonietta. Miłosz is a four-time Marshal Fellow and has won laurels at many national and international competitions: Power Sunrise, KracaMera, Duetomania, Malchower Kirchenpreis and many others. As a laureate, he also performed chamber music at the 11th European Clarinet Congress in Krakow.
As a conductor, he realized numerous projects with the Szczecińska Trzynastka — the wind orchestra DK “13 Muz”, the Gryfin Wind Orchestra and the Sonare Collective symphony orchestra in Poznań, performing such works as the Bassoon Concerto in B major by W. A. Mozart or Dies Irae by Giuseppe Verdi. In 2025 he led the Józef Madeja Clarinet Ensemble during the International Józef Madea Festival, performing the premiere of Concertino for clarinet and clarinet choir dr hab. Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska and The Woodwind Choir by Paweł Bałutowski.
He is currently the co-founder and conductor of the Sonare Collective symphony orchestra in Poznań, as well as the conductor of the Szczecińska Trzynastka — the wind orchestra DK “13 Muz” and the Gryfin Wind Orchestra.
