One day we packed up and settled in a trailer. For a year and a half. We left the beautiful life on the coast and set off on a family trip through Australia. I thought it would be the adventure of a lifetime. And she was. But it was also one of the hardest journeys I've ever made.

It will be a story that will take you to where the red sands of Outback enter the bloodstream, to the moisture-filled thickets of ancient forests where deviating from the route means no return, to the streets of forgotten, bizarre cities, where surely some pub once burned down, and today stands a new one, connecting communities. And in all this we also stand: my Australian husband, a son of several years and me. And our 6 square meters on wheels, called home. I will show you what happens to a woman, a relationship and a family when suddenly space, routine and the illusion of control are taken away from them. From now on vanlife will look a little different. Australia as well.”

Julia Raczko-Gospo — in 2012 she quit her career as a television producer and went on a solo trip around the world, from which she never returned. In Australia she found love, a new life and herself. For more than a decade, she has been talking about this country sincerely and passionately — as a blogger (julianadsam.com) and author of books. She cooperates with diplomatic institutions, has performed at travel festivals throughout Poland, regularly brings Australia closer to the media.

She recently turned a hundred square meters into six - and went with her husband and son on a year-and-a-half journey across the continent. He knows what it means to leave everything and start over. Twice.
