1984

Stage: Big Stage

The adaptation of George Orwell's iconic novel will focus on what is most dangerous in a world of total control — love.

In a reality that produces loneliness and breaks bonds, Winston and Julia's relationship becomes the last space of freedom. Their meeting is an act of opposition to a system that does not only expect obedience — it demands alienation. Because the greatest threat to power is not rebellion, but closeness.

The show will appeal to retrofuturistic aesthetics — a future imagined in the past. Large-scale visuals will constantly follow the characters, and live violin music will create an intimate space where every gesture becomes visible and every feeling suspicious.

This is “1984”, in which the most important question is not: who has power? Only: can we still be together?
