20th Textile Day

A day for the whole family

On our 20th Textile Day, numerous artists present their works and offer mini workshops to try out various techniques.

Program 12 and 2 p.m. | Guided tour of the exhibition “Heavy Material”: Women's Life Stories — Heavy Material? Trendy colors on a golden background next to deep black wedding clothes: Danube-Swabian garments provide surprising insights into the former lives of women and girls. This world was narrow because it was governed by village and church rules, but also wide because it offered the diversity of a multicultural society.

Admission to Textile Day is included in museum admission: 10 euros (reduced 5 euros), children up to 18 years are free, plus low material costs if applicable.
