A trip to Kilimanjaro is like a hot coffee with ice cream. From the vast, flat and sun-warmed savannah grows a powerful volcano, blanketed with snow. The slopes of the mountain are covered with woody ferns, lobelia and African starlings as in the Jurassic forest. With each meter we ascend to the harsh kingdom of glaciers still preserved there to finally stand at the very top of the African continent (5896 m above sea level).

About the event

KILIMANJARO — MOUNTAIN OF DREAMS

It will be a story about mountains, people and emotions.

The silhouette of Kilimanjaro can be seen most beautifully from the nearby volcano Mt Meru (4566 m above sea level), which is worth entering earlier to gain altitude acclimatization.

Kilimanjaro attracts thousands of people every year with the magic of Africa's highest peak. For some it is another trekking destination, for others it is quite a challenge, a mountain road to the fulfillment of a dream, a stepping stone from problems, a hope for change. When climbing to the top, tourists often take with them luggage of various dreams and emotions. For these emotions and for the wonderful team of guides and porters who surround tourists with caring care and comfort, I returned to Kilimanjaro.

They are the authors of the trekking guide “Indian Himalayas”, the album “Himalayas - the trail of caravans and pilgrims” and several photo exhibitions.
