25 years of creating together, nurturing local heritage and passing on traditional skills to future generations. The Club of Traditional Artists operating at the Suwałki Cultural Center celebrates its jubilee.
The Club of Traditional Artists brings together more than twenty craftsmen, craftsmen and traditional artists from Suwałki and Suwałki, representing a variety of fields, techniques and creative passions. Its origins date back to 2000. Over the years, members of the Club have actively participated in the cultural life of the region, conducting workshops and demonstrations and participating in fairs and fairs.
The Club is supervised by ethnographer and SOK instructor Magdalena Zielińska-John. The Traditional Creators Club is part of the SOK Cultural Heritage Laboratory, which also hosts ethnographic classes and consultations on the traditions, crafts and culture of the region.
