About artists:
Christina Bjørkøe is an outstanding Danish concert pianist, valued for her versatility and interpretations of classical and contemporary music. She is a professor of piano at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Odensee, where she teaches and educates young pianists. She performs as a soloist with orchestras and as a chamber musician at prestigious festivals and concert halls in Europe, North America and Asia. A special place in her repertoire is occupied by the music of Scandinavian and Danish composers, but she also performs a wide repertoire from classicism to the latest music. She has recorded many highly rated albums and is the winner of numerous phonographic awards.
Niels Hav is a Danish poet, prose writer and essayist, born in 1949 in Denmark. He is one of the most recognizable contemporary Danish literary creators, the author of many volumes of poetry, novels and short story collections. His poetry is distinguished by simple, accessible language, humor and irony, and reflection on everyday life, love, memory and transience. Niels Hav's work has been translated into many languages and has been presented at numerous international literary festivals around the world.
