28.11./ Szczecin Poetry Branch — Wyspa Ensemble — Elusive motifs

28.11.2026 Saturday 18:00
Wyspa is a band founded in 1997 by Ola Kiełb — Szawula.
Their musical style is acoustic, warm sounds and original lyrics.
They usually perform in the following line-up:
Ola Kiełb — guitar, vocals
Justyna Wojtkowiak- voice, flute
Marcin Wojtkowiak — bass guitar
Recently, Hanna Wojtkowiak, daughter of Justyna and Marcin, who plays the violin, joined the band.
They perform Ola's own works together, and each concert is a journey into the land of poetry and melodic compositions, friendly to the ear thanks to their harmony and dynamism. Timeless lyrics, unpretentious author's comments, memorable choruses — the concerts of the Island are a kind of celebration, and at the same time a celebration of the charms of everyday life. The ballads of Oli and the Islands resonate successfully in mountain huts, on poetry scenes, festivals of tourist songs and poetry sung since the 80s of the last century.
Elusive motifs — is a program composed of ballads specially selected for the Szczecin Wierszogranie, imbued with lyrics and warming hearts with optimism and a universal message: let's save what is most beautiful in us.
Ola Kiełb has on her account cassettes with author's songs Lepše vidoki, Niedojrzałe czereśnie (also a CD version) and CD: Na rozstavach ach. Ballads of Oli Kiełb, In Nanibov. Children's songs, Road to Bethlehem. Pastorals by Ola Kiełb, Elusive motifs. Her original songs were also included in the repertoire of the legendary Szczecin group Do Góry Dnem.
Szczecińskie Wierszogranie is a series of concerts by artists related to sung poetry, acting, author's and even maritime (shanty, sailing ballad) or tourist songs. The first meeting took place
