10/29/Performance “Macbeth” and Halloween Concert of the Uhuru Theater

29.10.2026 Thursday 17:00
As part of the Stage of Theatrical Presentations in the House of Culture “13 Muses”, which lasts the whole season, the Uhuru Theater invites you to the performance “Macbeth”, that is, its own interpretation of the famous tragedy of William Shakespeare and a concert in the atmosphere of Halloween.
“Be bloody, wayward, rebellious;
Let not the power of man hinder your ways;
For none of those born to a woman,
He will not hurt or kill Macbeth.”
“Macbeth” is a story about the desire for power, burning ambition and a destiny to which people are nothing more than puppets. This is the story of Macbeth, the tragedy of the ruler and the story of the vanquished.
In the second part of the evening we invite you to the Halloween Concert, which is a program consisting of texts, stage improvisations and Halloween songs performed by the actors of the Uhuru Theater.
The Stage of Theatrical Presentations in the House of Culture “13 Muz” as a project initiated by the Uhuru Theater, continues throughout the artistic season and constitutes a series of theatrical presentations, both of the theaters operating in the “13 Muses” and those that are invited by guests from other centers and cultural institutions.
The Uhuru Theatre was founded in 1997 in the Youth House of Culture in Gryfin (now Gryfin House of Culture). The founder and artistic director of the theater is Janusz Janiszewski, an actor of the Kana Theater in Szczecin, director, pollist and theater educator.
Currently, the theater has been operating for five years in the House of Culture “13 Muz” under the direction of Janusz Janiszewski, who created the Uhuru Theater Studio for active youth, bringing together high school students and students pursuing various artistic passions in it: acting, directing, visual and literary arts and other stage forms.
Since the beginning of its existence, the Uhuru Theater has been cooperating as a creative group with foreign, mainly German, cultural centers, participating in youth exchange projects and co-organizing international theater workshops.
Classes in the Uhuru Theater Studio are held regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16:00-20:00 — we invite you!
