500 miles

500 Miles is a warm, moving film by dear BAFT winner Morgan Matthews, in which subtle humor is intertwined with emotion. Teenage Finn and his younger brother Charlie run away from home to avoid separation after their parents split up. Their goal is the wild west coast of Ireland and the home of beloved grandfather John - the last safe haven in their crumbling world. However, 500 miles is more than a movie of the road. It is a sincere, unadulterated and deeply reflective story about family, hope and the need for closeness, which in the finale takes on a new meaning and makes you think back to the first scenes after the screening.
