The beginning of November will once again pass in Siedlce under the sign of unforgettable musical exhilarations! On November 7, the “Podlasie” performance hall of the Municipal Cultural Center will become the heart of Polish jazz. Ahead of us is the 67th Siedleckie Zaduszki Jazzowe — the oldest and largest jazz event in our region, which for decades has proudly positioned itself as one of the most important cultural highlights of the city.
Siedleckie Zaduszki Jazzowe is a festival with a well-established reputation, which attracts music lovers every year not only from Siedlce, but also from all over Poland. The tradition of the event has become to unite generations and styles: our stage regularly hosts both absolute legends of the Polish jazz scene and the most promising, intriguing artists of the younger generation. Every year we make every effort to ensure that each subsequent edition impresses with the diversity of the program and represents the highest possible artistic level.
This year's edition of the festival promises to be a deep, atmospheric experience that will perfectly fit into the unique, reverent atmosphere of the beginning of November. On our stage will be performed by: Wojtek Pilichowski Slap Jazz, Ewa Bem & Andrzej Jagodziński Band and Maciej Sikała Trio!

Wojtek Pilichowski Slap Jazz
“Slap Jazz” is Wojtek Pilichowski's latest project — a jazz-funk venture that presents his work in a fresh and energetic way. The artist reaches for his own compositions, giving them modern, dynamic arrangements, in which the central place is occupied by the characteristic slap bass — Pilichowski's hallmark.
The project combines jazz improvisation with funk, groove and concert energy. This music is communicative, virtuosic, and at the same time very accessible to the audience — perfect for both club and festival scenes.
The release of the album “Slap Jazz” took place in February of this year, opening a multi-stage release (a total of three discs, including a live concert album). The years 2026-2027 are an intensive tour promoting the project, and 2026 itself has a jubilee dimension for the artist - 35 years of artistic work.
During the concert in Siedlce: Wojtek Pilichowski — bass, Tomasz Machański — drums, Filip Chojnacki — keyboards, Łukasz Rudkiewicz — guitar.
Ewa Bem & Andrzej Jagodziński Band — My Songs
Unique, warm voice, stage charisma and authenticity. Ewa Bem is a wonderful singer and a unique personality with impeccable stage manners. She recorded 15 albums, sang hundreds of concerts in front of audiences in the country, as well as in Europe, America, Africa and Asia.
She belongs to the group of the most outstanding Polish singers, and in the jazz community she is considered the first Lady of Polish Jazz. She began her great career with the band Bemibek, a formation unique for those times on the Polish music market. She has collaborated with the biggest names of the Polish jazz scene, including Wojciech Karolak, Zbyszek Namysłowski, Jan “Ptaszyn” Wróblewski, Mark Bliziński and Henryk Miśkiewicz. Since 1987, with short breaks, he cooperates with Andrzej Jagodziński — pianist, arranger, composer, another great figure of the Polish music scene.
The undoubted advantage of Ewa Bem's concerts is the variety of repertoire and selection of songs.
The new concert program “Ewa Bem — My Songs” includes lesser-known songs from the artist's vast achievements, but also some of her greatest hits. Arrangements by Andrzej Jagodziński and Robert Majewski reveal a new face of these works.
During the Siedlce Jazz Zaduszki there will be: Ewa Bem — vocals, Andrzej Jagodziński — piano, musical direction, Robert Majewski — trumpet, Adam Cegielski — double bass, Czesław “Mały” Bartkowski — drums, Kaja Kupczyńska — vocals (backing vocals).
Maciej Sikała Trio — Better Place
The trio was formed in 2022. The repertoire of the band consists of works by all three musicians, thanks to which it is diverse and although embedded in the jazz tradition, it must be classified as what is called contemporary jazz.
On October 1, 2025, the premiere of the band's first album entitled “Better Place”, released by Soliton, took place.
Maciej Sikała is a saxophonist, composer, lecturer in the jazz saxophone class at the Music Academies in Gdańsk and Bydgoszcz. Multiple winner of the title of best saxophonist (tenor and soprano) according to Jazz Forum magazine. In the Jazz Forum survey, “Jazz Top” ranked first in the tenor saxophone category in 1995-2005, 2010 and 2012-2024 as well as in the soprano saxophone category in 2012, 2015, 2016 and 2019.
He has collaborated with, among others, Jan “Ptaszyn” Wróblewski, Henryk Miśkiewicz, Tomasz Szukalski, Leszek Możdżer, Piotr Wojtasik, Jarosław Śmietana, Leszek Kułakowski, Wojciech Karolak and with ensembles such as: Love, L. Możdżer's Sextet, Kuby Stankiewicz Quartet Qyavy, Lester Bowie, David Liebman, Ronnie Burrage, Billy Harper, Wayne Dockerey, John Betsch, Kenny Wheeler, Eddie Henderson, Tim Haggans, David Kikoski.
He recorded more than 70 albums, including six original albums, two of which were nominated for the “Fryderyki” award.
