7th Halina Machulska Award - call for applications

THE APPLICATION FORM IS OPEN UNTIL NOVEMBER 2 INCLUSIVE: https://forms.gle/7zgCKrj6RNBFX2nK6 This is already the 7th Award of the name of Our patroness - Halina Machulska. We award it to artists, educators, theatre and artistic education people who initiate and consistently nurture the activities of creative communities through their work. We encourage the selection to be made by a Chapter composed of winners of previous editions of the Prize, experts in the field of education and theatre pedagogy.

We invite applications on your own behalf, but we especially encourage group participants, pupils, students, parents and guardians, all cooperating persons to submit their applications. The award is an opportunity to honor the people you have met on your artistic, theatrical or educational path, who inspire you, help you take your first and next steps in the world of theater.

This year we decided to slightly expand the competition formula and in addition to the financial prize, the Chapter will indicate one person nominated for a temporary pedagogical and theatrical residency at the Ochoty Theater, lasting no less than 30 calendar days, together with a scholarship and a budget allocated for the implementation of the activity within it.

The competition is held in two stages.

By awarding the Halina Machulska Award, we want to honor people who inspire independent work and development, without stopping only on spectacular stage effects. With this award, we want to highlight the role of art as a tool of inclusion, strengthening ties and sensitizing society. At the same time, with this action we want to highlight the figure of the co-founder of the Theater and her achievements.
