In the autumn of 1941, the Germans deported Jews from the Third Reich and the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia to the Lodz ghetto. The deportations took place from October 16 to November 4. About 20,000 people were resettled in the Lodz ghetto. Jews from Vienna, Berlin, Luxembourg, Prague, Frankfurt am Main, Cologne, Emden, Hamburg and Düsseldorf. Most of the victims of the Lodz ghetto were murdered in the extermination camp in Chełmno nad Nerem. The second group in the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, which was deported there during the liquidation of the ghetto. We invite you to the festivities, during which we will commemorate the deported together with the representatives of the authorities.
