“Pavarotti's 90th Birthday” Celebrity concert from Arena di Verona 2025 at HnS
Helios Blue City, WarszawaAbout the event
In the autumn of 2025, the famous Arena di Verona gathered the greatest stars of opera and pop, including Andrea Bocelli, Jonathan Tetelman, Angela Gheorghiu and Il Volo, to give an incredible concert that... brought back to life Luciano Pavarotti, the king of tenors and the great singer of the common people. His two living colleagues, Plácido Domingo and José Carreras, sang live with him. The impossible has become a fact — the Three Tenors are back on stage! The latest concert honoring a singer with a heavenly voice who still brings to mind sun-drenched and spaghetti Italy has been given a meaningful title: “Luciano Pavarotti. The man who moved the world.” It's true. Although he celebrated incredible triumphs on the most important stages, from Milan's La Scala to New York's The Metropolitan Opera, Luciano Pavarotti wanted to bring classical music to people around the world. It was thanks to his popularizing concerts that made many of us love opera. His performance in Hyde Park was attended by more than 100,000 people despite the downpour, and his televised performances with Doming and Carreras (The Three Tenors) caused traffic in towns and cities to die down. The concert from the legendary Verona amphitheater is a bundle of the most famous opera arias and undeniable evergreens performed not only by classical singers, but also by artists who successfully combine serious and pop music. In addition to the aforementioned stars, the following also performed: cellist Hauser, singer Umberto Tozzi, as well as Vittorio Grigolo, an international class tenor, who at the age of 13 sang the part of the Shepherd in Puccini's “Tosca” at the Roman Opera, and the role of Cavaradossi in this performance was created at that time by Luciano Pavarotti himself.Duration: about 93 minutes
