A due cori is a unique concert presenting the richness of European polychoral music of the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries. The programme will feature masterpieces by Italian and Polish composers — Giovanni Gabrieli, Luka Marenzia, Bartłomiej Pękiel, Mikołaj Zielenski and Marcin Mielczewski. Monumental sounds of polychoral compositions, full of spatial dialogue and artistic consonants, will be performed by outstanding soloists, the Chamber Choir of the University of Zielona Góra “Cantus humanus” and the “Arte dei Suonatori” Orchestra under the baton of Bartłomiej Stankowiak. The concert will be an extraordinary journey into the world of early music, showing inspirations combining Italian tradition with the work of the most outstanding composers of the former Republic of Poland.
