A Kiss Before Dying

Bud Corliss (Robert Wagner) is a charming young man determined to reach the higher echelons of society. When his girlfriend Dorothy (Joanne Woodward) becomes pregnant, she risks straining her legs for the future he has so long dreamed of. Bud therefore chooses the most brutal resort: he murders her and tries to make it look like suicide. Dorothy's sister Ellen (Virginia Leith), however, can't make the story hang together and begins her own investigation — not knowing how close she is to the killer.
