Ella & The Bossa Beat present
An evening of Brazilian jazz and bossa nova, from the timeless songs of João Gilberto and Antônio Carlos Jobim to modern interpretations and original compositions.
Born in late-1950s Brazil, bossa nova blends the gentle rhythms of samba with the harmonic sophistication of jazz, creating its signature laid-back sound and influencing music far beyond Brazil.
Led by rising jazz vocalist and pianist Ella Blu and her father, Grammy-nominated drummer Magrus Borges, international ensemble Ella & The Bossa Beat bring a night of Brazilian cool, featuring original compositions from their fourth studio album, AMARE.
