And this is Poland — gala concert of the Song and Dance Ensemble “Silesia”

The most famous program of the Song and Dance Ensemble “Silesia”, bringing worldwide fame and splendor, showing the beauty of the national culture as well as the richness of the regional heritage. The whole show consists of folk songs and dances, characteristic of particular regions of Poland, enriched with choreographies of national dances.

The majority of this program consists of compositions or musical elaborations by Stanisław Hadyna and choreographic arrangements by Elwira Kamińska — a duo of creators of the power of “Silesia”. The program includes popular works by Stanisław Hadyna, such as: “Karolinka”, “Szła eczka”, “Hey, these our mountains” and musical elaborations of such dances as: “Trojak”, “Kujawiak-Oberek” or “Polonez-Mazur”. Professional interpretation of songs, folk and national dances performed by the artists of the Ensemble — has been a visiting card of Poland on stages all over the world for years, making the Ensemble an Ambassador of Polish National Culture.
