Adult Comics & Graphic Novels of the Year 2026

Come and get inspired for great comic reading! What comics are you going to read this year? Which graphic novels deserve a place on the nightstand — and which releases should you not miss?

Get plenty of inspiration when comic experts Dennis Jacob Rosenfeld and Mads Bluhm from the video and podcast Tosset med Comics once again dive into the best releases of the year.

They've read their way through this year's releases and come up with their personal favorites, surprises and recommendations from across the comics landscape. We will review Danish publications, translated titles, comics in English and manga — with a focus on good reading experiences for adults.

There will be room for both the big names and the lesser-known gems, for new releases and maybe a few books you would never have found yourself. For comics can be anything from literary and artistic to political, humorous, bizarre, brutal, touching or simply madly entertaining.

The evening is for both the tanned comic book reader who wants to discover something new and you who are curious about what the medium has to offer.

The event takes place in the library and is free, but you need to book a seat at Billetto.
