Adam Golicki The Great Time Rzeszow Jazz Festival 2026

“The Great Time” is an original project by drummer and composer Adam Golicki, in which a jazz band meets an orchestra. During the Rzeszów Jazz Festival 2026, his music will be played with the participation of Grażyna Auguścik, Krzysztof Herdzin and the Podkarpackie Philharmonic Orchestra.

Grażyna Auguścik's voice and Krzysztof Herdzin's piano complete the compositions combining melodiousness with rhythmic energy and freedom of improvisation. Herdzin's arrangements allow to bring out the richness of the orchestral sound, leaving room for solo statements by jazz musicians.

The project is based on material from the album “The Great Time”, released in 2025 by Afro Vibe Records. This is an opportunity to hear Golicki's music in an extended cast, with the characteristic voice of Auguścik and the participation of excellent instrumentalists.
