Adonis has a guest

What is freedom? How is friendship born? Should differences divide us or unite us?

In a beautiful performance full of music, fun, color and banter, viewers have the opportunity to know the answers to many important questions. Adonis, willingly, unwillingly, receives an unexpected guest. Carbon, as different from the title character as night from day, tells him about an unknown world and awakens a longing for the new and — it would seem — unattainable. From the initial mutual resentment, a friendship is unexpectedly born, which gives courage and allows you to move mountains.

The play by Fred Apke directed by Jakub Szydłowski and Rafał Supiński will be an extraordinary experience for both children and adults. The story engages and encourages active participation in the performance. All the questions that Adonis and Coal are trying to answer each other are also directed towards the audience. The creators address the theme of independence, openness and breaking barriers with humor, energy and flair. Especially with flying, because that's what flight is all about — spreading your wings and believing in your own abilities.

Adonis and Coal show us that there are many types of beauty. There is no point in dressing up in someone else's feather and pretending to be someone you are not. Who exactly is Adonis? Who's his guest? You will find out during the show.

The show is designed for children aged 5+ and their caregivers as well as preschool and primary school groups.

The performance received the honorary patronage of the Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bydgoszcz.

Cinematography: Piotr Nykowski

Note: Strobe light is used during the performance.
