We invite you to an extraordinary journey “Towards Africa” - from the sources of the Nile to the Victoria Falls.

Our guests will be Inese and Krzysztof Błażyca, travelers, reporters and founders of the TOWARDS AFRICA Foundation, who have been associated with Uganda and Zambia for more than a dozen years.

During the meeting, we will hear stories from places that delight with diversity, but are also marked by a difficult history. It will be about Uganda and Zambia, the sources of the Nile, the Zambezi River, the life of the Karimojong pastors, war, beliefs, community and the power of reconciliation. Above all, however, it will be a story about people — their everyday lives, experiences, dreams and extraordinary stories.

Krzysztof Błażyca, journalist, photojournalist and author of books, has been regularly travelling around Africa for more than 20 years. She documents her experiences through reports, photographs and conversations with the inhabitants of the continent. He is the author of, among others, “The Blood of Aczola. Ten years after the forgotten war in northern Uganda” and “Adunu. The Land of Spirits.”

Inese and Krzysztof Błażyca will also talk about the activities carried out by the W STRÓŻYKI Foundation, which implements aid and development projects in Uganda, Zambia and Tanzania — including the construction of deep wells, support of education and assistance to children from the slums.

📸 The meeting will be accompanied by a photographic story that will allow you to look at Africa through the prism of specific places, faces and meetings.
