African Adventure

Little Jacusi moves in a dream to an exotic, fairytale land, inhabited by friendly animals. The boy goes on several funny adventures there: he climbs a palm tree, rides a zebra, meets a monkey, a giraffe and a crocodile. This simple story is told by the actors and dolls without words - in the language of gestures, music and light, which makes the plot completely understandable even for children who do not yet speak.

Something is constantly happening on the stage: more characters appear and the colorful scenery keeps changing, so that the little ones have no problem focusing their attention on the stage action. The performance surprises the little spectators with a lot of clever theatrical tricks: a colorful ball turns into an elephant, a car - into a hippopotamus, and the blue curtain once becomes a starry sky, and once a children's quilt.- Description of the play in simple textThe hero of the performance is a little boy named Jacuś. Yacuś is a year or two - he does not speak yet. The boy dreams of a trip to a warm country. In a dream, he goes on several adventures, for example, climbing a palm tree. He also meets friendly animals: zebra, monkey, giraffe, crocodile. It's a joyous journey. The boy vividly reacts to everything that happens. The show is played without words. We hear soft music and sounds made by the boy and the animals. Actors also use gestures and movement. An important role is played by color scenography, that is, the decor of the stage. It resembles a small child's room. Boy and animal dolls also look like children's toys. The serene mood of children's sleep also builds warm light. The show is gentle. It has a slow pace. There are no violent stimuli in it.
