AJLA - I bathed in dreams yesterday

AJLA is one of the most interesting new voices on the Polish neo-soul scene. The singer, producer and songwriter from the Cracow jazz community combines modern sounds of trip-hop, soul and alternative hip-hop with the sensitivity of sung poetry.
Her music is intimate and direct — based on heavy, deep bass, subtle jazz phrases and lyrics steeped in everyday emotions.
After the well-received EP “Ala 17", she presents her debut album “I bathed yesterday in dreams” - an unconventional release that places her at the junction of feminine alternative, neo-soul and urban music.
“I Bathed in Dreams Yesterday” is an album suspended between neo-soul, trip-hop and alternative hip-hop. Electronic productions meet jazz phrases, instrumental parts and deep bass. The album premiered on June 19, 2026.
The album included productions by AJLA, Krenz, Lucassi from Coals and 2K88, under whose artistic supervision all the material was created. In selected songs you can also hear the musicians of the Omasta band, responsible for the instrumental parts and a jazz element clearly present on the album.
It is sensual, lyrical and full of contrasts — from dreamlike, intimate compositions to songs with more dance energy. In her lyrics, AJLA uncompromisingly confronts her own experiences, leading the listener through personal emotions, observations of human states and hypnotic tales of relationships.
