How to face difficult emotions and at the same time look for motivation to act, even if we cannot save the whole world? How to talk to people for whom climate and ecology are not important, looking for common values and what we all need for a good life?

We invite teachers of high school classes to participate in a series of four workshops, during which we will seek answers to these questions together. We will focus on the process, using the experiences of teachers, young people involved in environmental activities and our own experiences. We will learn the approach of deep ecology and the tools of work in the area of “Active Hope”. Meetings with experts will also be part of the Academy, and their experiences will become a starting point for joint reflection and conversation. An important element of the process will also be the play “Greta” at the Ochoty Theater, about the involvement of young people in climate action and various forms of action. Teachers are encouraged to come to the performance together with their classes and take it as a starting point for a conversation about ecology and social engagement.

WHEN? 4 meetings, always on Saturdays, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Each meeting will last 6 hours, with an hour break:

11:00 — 13:30 — workshop work 13:30 — 14:30 — break 14:30 — 17:00 — workshop work

Group: 12—16 people

Participation in the entire cycle of four meetings is mandatory. We care about the continuity of the process, getting to know each other together, building trust.
