Academy of World Cinema: Ema

Elusive as a flame, the seductive Ema lights a fire wherever she appears.

Dancing is a lifetime for her — she is ready to sacrifice literally anything for her passion. Together with her choreographer-husband, she makes a controversial decision, through which her old world collapses, and on the ruins of the old order a whole new one grows - where women can dance as they want, the family is not determined by kinship, and everyone choreographes their own lives.

17:00 - lecture by MSc Adam Kruk, 18:30 - screening of the film “Ema”, after the film discussion.
