International cooperation has been one of the most important pillars of the NOSPR Academy program for years, opening up space for young musicians to develop, exchange experiences and build relationships with artists from all over the world. The Academy's program includes partnership projects with renowned foreign institutions, thanks to which participants gain valuable work experience in the international musical environment. On March 21, 2027, the NOSPR Academy will once again join forces with the National Orchestral Institute + Festival (USA), inviting the audience to a joint concert that is the culmination of an artistic meeting of young musicians from Poland and the United States.
About the event
The concert will be another meeting of young musicians from Poland and the United States, as well as an opportunity to present a program showing music as a continuous dialogue between tradition and the present.
The special event of the evening will be the world premiere of a new work by American composer Nathan Lincoln De Cusatis, written especially for the collaboration of the NOSPR Academy and the National Orchestral Institute + Festival. For the first time, the composition will be performed jointly by the participants of both programs, giving the premiere a unique, international character.
The concert program will be complemented by works by outstanding artists of the 20th and 21st centuries — Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Caroline Shaw, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Jacques Ibert. The compilation of these compositions shows a variety of ways of reinterpreting musical tradition, leading listeners from inspiration in folklore and classical forms to contemporary sound language.
This event brings much more than a single concert. It is a meeting of young artists who, through joint music-making, exchange of experiences and creative cooperation, build relationships that go beyond the borders of countries and cultures.
We cordially invite you to discover new meanings of musical tradition together and participate in this unique event.
