MR KLEKS ACADEMY

Welcome to our fairy tale... and meet an extremely eccentric teacher — Mr. Ambrož Kleks and his students. Learning for someone who can read minds, float in the air, make small things big, or cook from colored slides must be an extraordinary adventure.

The Academy is a place where everything is possible. It is enough to open the right gates to find yourself in the lands of famous fairy tales. Instead of a boring education, Mr. Kleks offers lessons in flying, baying, klexography and rather unusual geography with a globe in the role of a ball.

The Academy is a space not only for unlimited imagination, but also for freedom. It is a refuge for all the excluded, the weak and the weirdos who cannot find their way in their own environment. It is a place where everyone feels at home: well and safe. This is, first of all, a school, where the most important thing is the needs of the child and the development of his personality, and not rigorous learning. The only question is whether this school will survive...

Mr. Kleks Academy is a sing-along adventure that gains in appeal with new arrangements of famous songs. Children will surely recognize the songs of Brzechwa, and adults will return to their childhood years.

The play takes part in the 6th edition of the Competition for the Staging of Old Works of Polish Literature “Living Classics”.
