Lead Soldiers (8')
Deputies from a neighboring state arrive in the capital to declare war. Preparations and mobilization of the population begin. Trains heading to the front are full of soldiers and military equipment. Finally, hostilities begin, in which not only infantry takes part, but also artillery, tanks and air forces. After a long struggle, the soldiers of the victorious army return home. This is a rare example of a pre-war Polish animated film. As the caption reads: “This film is an experiment in which only ordinary, simplest children's toys were used.”
LEAD SOLDIERS, dir. Maksymilian Emmer, Jerzy Maliniak, 1939, 8'
