Can an amateur theater be more than a place for the preparation of subsequent performances? Can it become a space for meeting, collaborating and building a sustainable community?

During the workshop, participants will learn in practice the basic assumptions of improvised theater. Through simple exercises and short stage situations, they will check what is happening when, instead of planning and controlling, we begin to listen, react and build together. The workshop does not require prior theatrical experience. His goal is to experience improvisation as a tool for meeting and cooperation, and the theater itself — as a space accessible to all.

Paweł Leszkowicz — theatre teacher, psychologist and cultural animator, creator of the Kalokagathia Impro/Teatr Lab initiative and the Pneumatic Theatre in August. In her work, she combines inspirations from theatre pedagogy and theatre improvisation, treating group and social process as equally important as artistic effect.
