ACTION — MUSIC!

Imagine your favorite movie or your favorite cinematic fairy tale without music. Succeeded? Congratulations. But let's face it — a movie screening without a good melody or a rhythmic song is like a princess without an airy dress or a superhero without a cape. Thankfully, it's just a black script. Since the beginning of the history of cinema, music has had a unique role to play on the screen. First — performed live — it accompanied silent films, later it became an integral part of film art. It's no secret that the most famous soundtracks have long since come off the screen and today they often live their own lives. We know many of them perfectly! It only takes a few sounds for a secret agent in a perfectly tailored suit, an animated fairy from Disney land, or a duo in dark glasses who know that rhythm is of the utmost importance. So the story has come full circle: film music returns to the stage to sound live — and although this time without a screen, with truly cinematic momentum, energy and brilliance. With the Dizzy Boyz Brass Band, we invite you on a family journey down the cinematic paths — from the fanfare of the big labels that cause a thrill every time, to themes from iconic 20th Century Fox and Disney productions. Along the way, we will check what is happening with James Bond, we will look into the crazy world of The Blues Brothers, we will remember that Kevin was not always alone at home, and Rocky did not recognize the words “I give up”. There will also be Ghostbusters, blockbusters from the Trolls, Sing and Minions animations, as well as themes from the films Whiplash and Children of Sanchez. Everything will sound in new, exuberant arrangements for New Orleans wind instruments and drums. Music — Action!
