Act VIII is a group of experienced actors from Piaseczno who are passionate about theatrical improvisation. Since 2016, their home (culture) is the House of Culture in Piaseczno.

The ensemble grew out of amateur theatre, where reviews and theatre festivals provided a valuable experimental field. Over time, improvisation became their main passion, and the role of festival participants turned into special guests. They have performed at such events as FLAK, Theatre Festival in Kochanowski, FAZA, Deski Słowak, TFAŻ, Sztuka 6 or SZAFA.

Thanks to its theatrical roots, Act VIII skillfully combines improvisational techniques with classical theater, which adds freshness to their performances, while respecting the fundamental principles of theatrical art. They also run workshops for people interested in acting, as well as guest at events such as Fortress, Pyrkon or Animatsuri.

What distinguishes the theater of improvisation? It is the viewer who decides what he sees on stage! The actors use a series of improvisational games to bring the audience's ideas to the show. They ask for “suggestions”: places of action, problems to solve, topics of conversation or words of inspiration. Every performance is as unique as its viewers are — no two performances are ever the same. It's the public who rules! 3, 2, 1, 8!
