What is Albania associated with? With Dua Lipa or Mother Teresa? Maybe you associate the Cursed Mountains, the Law of Vendetta or the Blue Eye? For many, Albania still remains shrouded in a fog of stereotypes: it is a poor country after communism, full of bunkers and... after all, it is not known what to do next. Let's make room for your own perspective.

About the event

Meeting with traveler Rosela Ciko.

ALBANIA between stereotypes and reality. The transformation of the country of eagles is an open and free meeting, an invitation to get to know Albania from the perspective of an Albanian who has lived in Poland for a long time. It is a personal story that touches both the wild nature and the heart of Albanian culture. Rosela Ciko will introduce the rich history, complex identity and ethnic diversity of Albania. He will confront the stereotypes associated with it: religion, security, mass tourism and will address questions about the challenges of the future. The meeting also aims to build bridges that broaden perspective, show common values, foster understanding and mutual respect.
