Maniucha Bikont is a singer, musician, performer, expert of Eastern European folklore, doctor of humanities. He arranges songs, creates and performs music for films and theater performances. In his projects he uses a voice rooted in tradition, keys, sometimes also a tuba and a drum.
Paweł Szamburski, on the other hand, is a clarinetist and moving composer combining old and contemporary music, for example in the band Bastarda Trio.
In the Museum of Mazovian Jews they will perform, among others, works that were created in cooperation with Marcin Wicha: graphic artist who died in 2025, author of books, laureate of many awards and distinctions, including the “Nike” Literary Prize.
You can expect motifs and rhythms from the world of traditional Polish, Ukrainian and Jewish music; also elements of avant-garde sonoristics and sounds from early music.
