ALESTORM + De Facto Metal

To get to know Alestrom's origins, we have to go back 20 years to the east of Scotland, where a group of friends in the small town of Perth decided to form an epic metal band whose songs were supposed to focus on pirate themes. Acting as Battleheart, the group released several demos and attracted the attention of the local audience at first, but a while later also renowned in the genre of Napalm Records. It was then that the formation changed its name to Alestorm and signed a contract with the Austrian tycoon for several records.

In nearly twenty years, Alestorm have become a giant in the world of pirate metal. Their career is full of well-received albums, tours with bands such as Turisas, Sabaton, Dragonforce and Eluveitie and performances at major metal festivals, including Wacken, Bloodstock, Graspop and Sweden Rock. Last year, the Scots released their eighth album “The Thunderfist Chronicles”, after which they played 2 crazy concerts in our country. In August they will return to our country for 3 plays, where you can expect a lot of fun!
