Alex Henry Foster - Defying Gravity Tour

Alex Henry Foster is an artist who defies simple definitions. The Canadian musician, composer, producer and songwriter, formerly the frontman of Juno Award-nominated post-rock band Your Favorite Enemies, has consistently built his own uncompromising musical world for years. Referred to by Rolling Stone magazine as an “unobvious DIY artist,” Foster has become famous for creating intense, deeply emotional shows that are definitely more than a concert.
Together with The Long Shadows, Foster creates experiences that balance post-rock, gothic rock, ambient experimentation and raw emotionality. His performances are mesmerizing, unpredictable musical journeys - full of improvisation and moments of almost intimate sincerity. These are concerts that you experience more than just watch.
An evening with the music of Alex Henry Foster is often described as an almost spiritual experience - immersive, intense and completely absorbing. Polish and foreign critics do not hide their admiration for his work. Radio Troika wrote: “Swans, Radiohead or Nick Cave? How about combining their sounds? We'd get Alex Henry Foster.” In turn, the British Silent Radio described his music as “Sonic Youth meeting Slint at a party organized by Mogwai.”
For fans of music that moves, disturbs and completely engages Alex Henry Foster & The Long Shadows is a proposal that cannot be ignored.
