Alex Vargas

Alex Vargas drapes VEGA in pop-well sound

With his goosebump-inducing vocals and unmistakable ear for eminent melodies and grand choruses, Alex Vargas is one of the country's great voices.

Vargas has for more than 10 years been a fixture on the scenes the country over. And especially his strong back catalogue and his inherent hit parade of songs such as “Shackled Up”, “Solid Ground” and “Higher Love” have helped nail Vargas to the musical starry sky with a seven-inch seam.

Now Vargas is back with new tones. This year, the singles “Something in the Air,” “Lose Your Head” and most recently “Get Right” have seen the light of day. The three songs introduce a new style shift in Vargas's career with hitherto unheard of electronic energy, with the singles heralding renewed personal depth and musical virtuosity.

On “Get Right,” we get to hear an artist where an inner turmoil storms, but also an artist where hope takes its place and guides Vargas.

The press release states “that the new single cements, Alex Vargas is in full swing challenging himself, his own limits and letting go of self-control.”

Alex Vargas is a well-known Vega name by now. The musician has sweetened the audience's ear canals with tones 14 times since 2012. And now he's back stronger than ever in Store VEGA on October 29, 2026.
