Alicja Majewska and Włodzimierz Korcz celebrate a round jubilee - 50 years of artistic cooperation. On this occasion, they embark on a unique concert tour, during which you will hear not only the greatest hits of Alicja Majewska, but also songs that can surprise many viewers. The artists will be accompanied by the Warsaw String Quartet, and in the largest and most beautiful concert halls - a 16-person orchestra and vocal ensemble under the direction of maestro Włodzimierz Korcz. Alicja Majewska
Singer. Born on May 30, 1948 in Wrocław. A graduate of the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy of the University of Warsaw. From 1971 she sang in the band Partita. In 1974 she began her solo career - in that same year she presented herself to a wider audience in the television program composed of songs by Hanka Ordonówna “Love will forgive you everything” and thanks to this performance she was noticed by the environment, as well as by Mariusz Walter, who offered her to prepare a program in retro style for Studio 2. Until 1977 she was associated with the Theater on Market in Warsaw. She attended singing lessons with Professor Olga Lada.
She has performed in many countries of Europe, Asia, as well as in Polish centers of the USA, Canada and Australia. She released a number of hits, including “Still There's a White Sail”, “We Will Discover Unknown Love”, “To Be a Woman”, “It's Not Art to Build a New Home”.

Awarded many times at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole:
“There are such days” - the main prize of the Minister of Culture and Art (1975),
“The white sail is still there” - second place (1980),
“For a new love” - distinction (1985),
“We will discover a love unknown” - distinction (1986),
“March of Single Women” - second prize (1987),
special award of the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of KFPP Opole '89 for artistic individuality,
Golden Microphone, awarded by the Polish Radio Management Board - 52nd KFPP Opole 2015.
She also found recognition in the eyes of foreign jurors by winning Grand Prix at festivals:
in Rostock - GDR (1980),
Havana, Cuba (1985).

She sings texts by excellent authors - mainly Wojciech Młynarski.
She collaborates permanently with composer and pianist Włodzimierz Korcz, the author of the music of most of her songs.
