We invite you to a curatorial tour of the exhibition Alina Szapochnikov/Naira Baghramian, organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Alina Szapocznikow. The exhibition juxtaposes the work of one of the most important Polish sculptors of the 20th century with the works of the Iranian-German artist Naira Baghramian, creating a dialogue between two different sculptural practices.

During the tour, together with the curator of the exhibition, Paweł Pys, we will examine the works of Alina Szapocznikow from 1959 to 1972 — from figurative realizations to increasingly experimental searches related to the human body. They will be accompanied by the works of Naira Baghramian, whose formal language combines geometric shapes with organic matter and references to the body.
