ALLEGAEON + CITY

Allegaeon have been around for almost two decades and during this time they have managed to develop their unique style in death metal, which is based on technical virtuosity on the one hand and expressive melodies on the other. At the moment, they have 7 major albums in their repertoire and each of them shows the evolution of the Colorado quintet. Released last year and closing out his discography, “The Ossuary Lens” is the first album recorded with returning original vocalist Ezra Haynes, whose return, symbolically and realistically, breathed a new spirit into the band. Check them out live in September and you'll see for yourself.

When it comes to the French school of progressive/technical death metal, Gorod is by far its most representative band. The group was founded in 1997 as Goregasm and has been operating under its current name since 2005. Inspired by the classics of technical death metal mixed with the freedom derived from 70s jazz, funk and rock make the band one of the most interesting in their league, as can be heard on their last album so far” The Orb”, which was released in 2023.

On the joint tour, Allegaeon and Gorod will share the stage with Abysmal Dawn. The Los Angeles formation on the back of their neck has more than two decades of activity, during which time they spewed 5 albums into the world. The last of them, “Phylogenesis”, premiered in 2020, but at the end of last year the band shared a new single “Cradle of Affliction”, which heralds the next chapter of their business.
