Just now, when the last remnants of autumn give way to the first cold days, we celebrate All Saints' Eve: a special day when superstitious creatures are unleashed in the darkness and darkness of the night and apparitions haunt. It is a time when the transitions between life and the afterlife are celebrated, when we commemorate the dead and look forward to a colder and darker season.
In this connection, the literature distributors from Vesterbro Library and Kulturhus invite all interested parties to a literary walk at Vestre Kirkegaard. On the tour we will read aloud from poems, short stories, novels and other texts that in one way or another have to do with the relationship of the living with the dead, about mourning and remembering the dead and the transitions between life and death.
Practical InfoVi meets at the entrance to Vestre Kirkegård on Vestre Kirkegårds allé and ends at the same place. The hike requires no prerequisites other than sensible footwear. It is free, but remember to book tickets well in advance as the number of participants is limited.
