Alt Baile 2nd Anniversary

Alt Baile started as an idea between friends who wanted to give artists a platform to share their vision of funk, on their own terms. Two years on, it’s become something much bigger than that. It’s a space where people come to express themselves, where strangers leave as friends, and where some of our favourite moments and memories have happened. We’re endlessly grateful for everyone who’s been part of it, and on Friday 14th November we’re celebrating at Hootananny Brixton.

Joining us:

CLEI

A DJ and cultural producer from Campinas, CLEI moves between funk and hip hop and has spent years building scenes and platforms for both. His sets are raw, sharp and rooted in the sound of São Paulo state’s underground baile culture.

SAZE

SAZE comes from São Paulo’s East Zone and started DJing in 2018, inspired by the street parties in his neighbourhood. He’s since become a sought-after producer as well as a DJ, known for funk ritmado and mandela, with production credits alongside some of Brazil’s most exciting artists.
